His expertise covers energy regulations, transactions, and environmental compliance, further positioning him as a trusted advisor for companies operating in the oil and gas, maritime, transportation, renewable energy sectors and industries.
Additionally, Augustine plays a pivotal role in the Real Estate & Construction Team, providing advisory on land acquisition for diverse projects and ensuring compliance with environmental safety standards. He also advises on tech-driven energy and non-energy solutions. His skills in dispute resolution, particularly in the energy & resources and real estate sectors have resulted in favorable outcomes for clients facing complex legal challenges.
With 12 years of legal experience, Obaseopuwhoi Etiowo is a resourceful leader with a comprehensive understanding of consumer protection, labour law and dispute resolution. As head of the Dispute Resolution, Labour & Competition Team, she specializes in advocating for consumer rights, labor compliance, and employment contract development.
Obaseopuwhoi has advised and handled a wide array of cases, from employment-related grievances to commercial disputes. Her strategic thinking and client-centric approach ensure smooth dispute resolutions through mediation and arbitration. She provides clients with strategic advice on how to approach disputes and manage disputes to minimise risks. Having a thorough understanding of the law and the legal system with a Master of Laws [LL.M] degree focused on alternative dispute resolution, Opuwhoi works to achieve the best possible wealth creation outcome for clients, whether through negotiated settlements or successful representation in court.
She is an alumnus of the University of Calabar.
Isaac Nwokolo leads the Real Estate & Construction Team with a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in property law, project and development advisory, and real estate investments. With a reputation for handling complex transactions, Isaac’s expertise spans property acquisition, real estate financing, and construction contracts.
As a key figure in the Corporate & Compliance Team, Isaac supports businesses with corporate and commercial transactions and compliance audits. As a certified mediator and arbitrator, he also brings his problem-solving prowess to the Dispute Resolution Team, offering effective litigation and arbitration strategies, particularly for real estate, construction, and employment-related conflicts.
Oyeb Inyang is a member of Energy & Transport, and IP, Ent. & Tech teams. She regularly represents and advises clients on various aspects of law including regulatory compliance, environmental law, labour and employment. Oyeb is a smart lawyer with keen interest in legal, gender and community development.
Her deep understanding of the Nigerian business environment positions her as a trusted and go-to member of the team.
Ujong Okpa heads both the IP, Entertainment & Tech and the Corporate & Compliance Teams of the firm, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise across multiple practice areas. With a strong foundation in intellectual property, media, and entertainment law, as well as information technology law, Ujong has successfully guided clients through complex legal landscapes, ensuring compliance with local regulations. His work includes advising on intellectual property protection, negotiating media agreements and disputes, and offering strategic legal support to tech startups and artists.

He also provides great insight to the Real Estate & Construction Team having a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in property law, project and development advisory, and real estate investments.
Amadi is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and a skilled negotiator. Beyond his industry experience, Anyakweh holds a Masters of Laws degree in Energy and Admiralty law and a degree in Mass Communication.
Chioma Nwachukwu is a versatile legal professional with significant expertise in both energy and financial sectors. As a core member of the Energy & Resources Team, she advises on energy regulations, transactions, and environmental compliance. In the Finance & Securities Team, Chioma supports clients with regulatory compliance and securities transactions.
Additionally, her role in the Corporate & Compliance Team involves providing corporate governance advice and regulatory audits for businesses. She also lends her expertise to the Consumer Protection & Labour Team, helping companies comply with labor laws and advocating for consumer rights. Chioma’s cross-disciplinary approach makes her an invaluable asset to the firm.
She obtained an LLB from the Imo State University subsequent upon which she was called to the Nigerian Bar.
With a strong background in both web development and maintenance, Faithson brings a unique blend of skills to our IT department where he is responsible for the management of our virtual presence and other infrastructure.
